4th of July Welcome Barbeque
5:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Super casual: Shorts, t-shirts, polos, sundresses, sandals are all good.
Location/Transportation: The venue is a residence at the end of a private road that is a 20-25 minute Uber/Lyft ride from many hotels in Danbury, including the Courtyard Marriott - Danbury. Parking at this residence is LIMITED. We highly encourage those that are either staying in the Danbury hotel area or those that are otherwise travelling via Route 7/84 to park at the Courtyard Marriott Danbury (no charge) and use Uber/Lyft to bring you to the venue residence. If you drive, please try to carpool as much as possible. Note that there is a guarded entrance at the base of the community (Candlewood Isle). Please let the guard know you are attending an event at 60 Ridge Road. What to bring? Feel free to bring your favorite beverage (but no pressure!)

Ceremony, Cocktail Hour and Reception

Dress to impress in your best cocktail attire. Please no jeans/denim and avoid shades of white. For the gentlemen, we ask that you wear a jacket, but ties are optional (seriously!)
Venue Note: The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside, weather permitting. Dinner and dancing will be in a covered barn-type structure. Transportation: Arranged transportation (coach bus) from the Courtyard Marriott - Danbury will depart at 3:30PM SHARP and return to the hotel at the conclusion of the reception (expected arrival time the hotel is 10:45PM). The roads in and around the venue are narrow and winding. We recommend that guests consider parking at the Courtyard Marriott Danbury (free to non-guests) and using the coach bus to travel to and from the venue. Dietary Restrictions/Concerns: Our menu, including our family-style dinner, has been curated with common dietary restrictions in mind. Give us a heads up if there is anything we should be aware of and we are happy to help. The dedicated staff on site will be able to provide guidance as well!
After Party... what could go wrong?

The coach bus will leave the wedding venue (Candlelight Farms) at 10:15PM and make a quick stop to unload passengers at The Abbey at 10:30PM. It will then proceed to the Courtyard Marriott Danbury to unload guests who decide the after party is not for them. The bus will then make a single trip back to the Courtyard Marriott Danbury from the Abbey likely around 12:30AM (we'll go with group consensus at some point). Uber/Lyfts are generally available but you may need to wait a few minutes if you decide to leave the after party early. There will be a cash bar and likely some light fare!
