What time should I arrive at the ceremony / ¿A qué hora debo llegar a la ceremonia?

Answer

3:45pm is when doors open and is highly recommended as the ceremony will start at exactly 4:00pm and you will need a good seat - no later. Groomsmen and bridesmaids will be able to arrive earlier. / Se dará acceso a las 3:45 pm , recomendamos llegar a tiempo ya que la ceremonia empezará puntualmente 4:00PM

I have a food restriction, can I make a special request? /¿Si tengo restricciones alimentarias, puedo pero algo especial?

Of course! Though there will be drinking and people will be partying. / No es lo más recomendable recomendable ya que habrá adultos bebiendo.

Yes, though we recommend an Uber in case you are unable to drive later. / El jardín cuenta con valet parking sin embargo recomendamos usar Uber para que eviten manejar de regreso.

Is there a dress code? / ¿Hay código de vestimenta?

Answer

No, though it's a garden wedding and you should dress-to-impress to say the least. Formal garden attire would be best. Groomsmen will be wearing guayaberas. / Jardín formal, ten en cuenta que será en temporada de calor en un jardín abierto.

Answer

No, this will be a civil wedding and will be overseen by a judge. / No, será una ceremonia civil oficiada por un juez.

Facemasks are not required at our wedding, they are optional. Most places do not require facemasks, but others (especially the airport, Ubers and museums) do. Bring a couple just in case. / Tanto la ceremonia como la fiesta se realizarán en espacios abiertos por lo que el uso de cubrebocas es una elección personal, te recomendamos llevar uno por si debes hacer uso de Uber más tarde.

How is the weather in May? / ¿Cómo es el clima en Mayo?

Answer

May is the hottest month of the year in CDMX between 75-80F (20-27C). Mornings & evenings between 55-60F (10-18C). CDMX is also more than 7,000 feet above sea level at the lowest point so bring sunscreen, and hydrate-well as the city has a dry climate. This is neither Cancun, Cabo, nor Acapulco. / Es de los meses más calurosos del año.

Do I need a visa if I'm travelling from the US?

Answer

No, a tourist visa will be provided to you on the flight over. Simply fill out the visa form. Mexican immigration officials have cut down on US tourists travelling time since many have overstayed their welcome so be sure to request 5-10 days when speaking with a customs officer just in case.

Is Mexico City safe?

Answer

Yes, CDMX is perfectly safe and unlike the notorious cities in the north of the country. The neighborhood where we are holding the wedding is safe. Just be aware of your surroundings like you would anywhere else in the US or in other countries. There are rough neighborhoods in the city, but we will be nowhere near them. Yes, there are earthquakes and hit at indiscriminate times and places. - Brant

Answer

Expedia or any third party travelling site is perfectly fine.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

MX Grand Suites - C. Río Lerma 275, Cuauhtémoc, 06500 Ciudad de México, CDMX. Brant enjoyed his stay there when he first visited.

Should I book a rental car?

Answer

Booking a rental car is not necessary as Ubers and taxis are always available. However, if you should feel the urge to then most major rental car companies can be found at the airport.

Do I have to be vaccinated to attend the wedding?

Answer

No.
