Best Man
Howard and I met back in the old Saucy days hustling in the kitchen together. It sounds cliche but he's always been there for me. From using his skills of being a car salesman, Howard traveled to Delaware to make sure I didn't get ripped off buying my dreamcar. To taking trips to Atlantic City and local casinos teaching me how not to lose all my money (in the first hour atleast). Or just hanging out at home having a couple drinks and watching the latest UFC fight. Over the years Howard has become a part of the family. He's more than just a friend, he's the big brother.
Maid of Honor
When i first met Janeth almost ten years ago we clicked immediately . Since she was begining her relationship with my brother, I tried to be the skeptical protective sister. But she was so sweet and easy going we naturally became friends. After a couple years it was obvious she would be with my brother forever. So I was extremely excited when their first child, our flower girl, was born. Friends have come and gone, but she stayed by my side, loved and supported me when I needed it most. When I was younger and dreamt about my future wedding I thought choosing my maid of honor would be a difficult decision. Turns out it was one of the the easiest decision I've ever made.
Best Man
Vince and I have been together since we were in diapers. We're technically cousins but both being only children, I've always considered him my brother. Every family trip we were always hanging out getting into trouble together. From going to the beach, Deep Creek Lake, family reunions, and even Ireland! Vince is hands down the funniest person I've ever known. Whenever he's around you can be sure you'll have a good time. For as long as I can remember Vince has always been there with me. Weather it was an hour-long phone conversation, playing video games (which I always won lol), or us being an awsome team hitting on girls at the local bar. No matter what life brings our way, i know we can always count on eachother.
Bridesmaid
After Jon and I had been dating about a year he told me his big sister was coming down to visit. So naturally I was very nervous to meet her and her daughter Gianna. But after our first encounter I felt like I'd known them forever. Over the past few years we've been able to spend a lot of time together. From trips to Ocean City Beach and road trips to Pittsburgh for Halloween and Birthday parties. I love how fierce, independent and sassy she is. I love our hour long conversations. Rio has always listened and let me vent. I'm so happy knowing that no matter where life takes us, I can always call her one of my best friends.
Best Man
If Howard is the big brother, and Vince is the middle brother, then Lucas is the little brother. Although the youngest he towers over all of us now. Lucas is around eight years younger than Vince and I so naturally he was the annoying little brother lol. I can still hear my mother's voice to this day telling me "let Lucas play too!" But as time went by I watched Lucas grow into a funny, cool, intelligent young man. As adults i really enjoy hanging out with him and talking about the latest developments in our lives. We've got to enjoy many trips to Baldhead Island together. Late nights in Baltimore bars. And family get togethers like Thanksgiving and reunions. I couldn't ask for better brothers than my three best men.
Bridesmaid
Selena has been dating my oldest brother Jaime for a few years now. Although I haven't known her as long as my other Bridesmaids she is quickly becoming part of our family. Selena is the best thing that has happened to my brother. I can tell she truly loves him so I will always love, respect, and appreciate her for that. Selena is extremely intelligent, kind-hearted, and selfless. If I've ever needed help I could always count on her. I'm delighted to have her in my wedding and eager to watch our friendship continue to grow.
Father of the Bride
When I think about my Dad wrapping his arms around me in the warmest tightest hug, I'm convinced that God knew what he was doing when he chose him to be my Dad. He has always been loving, nurturing, caring, and thoughtful. Not only does this make me proud but it makes me appreciate all the gifts life has given me. One of my favorite parts of his character is his humor. It has seen me through some of lifes toughest trials. Dad always motivated me in every walk of life whether it was education, relationships, and most importantly our spirituality. My Dad is the deepest thought provoking person I've ever known. There's nothing I cherish more then our long conversations about life, love, and our relationship to everything in the universe. I'm so proud to be his daughter.
Mother of the Bride
I have always appreciated all thoes little everyday things Mom does to make our lives more special. I'm not sure how she does it but she always seems to have time for everyone. Her tough love pushed me to be the best version of myself. Mom taught me to be brave, to have confidence in myself, to be a strong independant woman, and to know how to get back up when I fall. I’m grateful for her honest advice. It stings at times, but she taught me the hard lessons in life. And I understand now that it came from a place of pure love and careing. I’m thankful for my Moms guidance too. Sometimes, when life gets complicated, I became irrational. And she was there to stop me and give me a reality check. I really feel blessed to be her daughter.
Father of the Groom
Where would I be without the wisdom, friendship, and love from my father. My Dad always made an effort to widen my interests and increase my knowledge. The older I get the more respect I have for him and realize how much he's sacrificed for me to succeed. As an adult I've also discovered how much in common we really have. We have the same sense of humor, appreciation for formal men's fashion, and enjoy checking out the latest movies together. Most importantly he's taught me through example on how to be a man. To be kind, respectful, strong, and patient. And to be a leader, to know whats right and to not be afraid to do it. No matter how old I grow, my father will always be my mentor and hero.
Mother of the Groom
If you know me, you know im a mommas boy. I've always felt a deep spiritual connection with my mom. She is bursting with love, faith, and inspiration. As a child she always did whatever she could to make me feel safe and happy. My younger years (and still to this day) are full of memories of her being fun and goofy just to make me smile. She was there through every rotten highschool year. Man was I a brat! Thank you for seeing the goodness in me even when I didn’t deserve it. My Mom has supported me through absolutely everything I've done. One of the things I admire most is the love for life she instilled in me. I wouldn't be the person I am today without her lessons and her love.
Flower Girl
Alicia is my Maid of Honor and my brother Elio's child. She is one of the sweetest most adorable little girls I've ever known. She is so intelligent, full of life, and always brings a smile to your face. She is definitely her mother's daughter. We love baking together, coloring and talking about cats lol.
Ring Bearer
Jacob is my brother Jaime's youngest son. Growing up I would help my brother by picking Jacob up from his babysitter, watching him, and playing together. He has always been a big part of my life and will always have a special place in my heart. Jacob is a funny, playful, little ball of energy. And is never short of surprises (hopefully one of those surprises won't be losing the ring lol).
