Things To Do

There are limitless options for filling your NYC weekend. While we're unable to list everything we would love our guests to experience while here, we're so excited to share some of our favorite places in the area with you. Ranging from restaurants, bars, art, and entertainment, some recommendations below require advanced reservations so please plan accordingly.

Fish Cheeks

55 Bond Street, New York, NY 10012

Located conveniently on the same street as our welcome party, Fish Cheeks serves authentic Thai with some of Shelby's favorite dishes. Reservations open 30 days in advance. Favorites: Zabb wings, crispy rice salad & pork, coconut crab curry, steamed fish with thai herbs

Chinese Tuxedo

5 Doyers Street, New York, NY 10013

Located in the heart of Chinatown, as it's first fine dining establishment, Chinese tuxedo is a converted opera house serving reimagined traditional Chinese banquet dishes. Our favorites: crispy pork lattice style dumplings, lobster & shrimp toast, hamachi crudo. Reservations open 2 weeks in advance.

Don Angie

103 Greenwich Avenue, New York, NY 10014

our favorite Italian restaurant in NYC. All reservations go live at 9am ET, seven calendar days in advance. If you are unable to get a reservation, prepared to be flexible. We recommend putting your name in upon the restaurant opening for bar seating. Favorites: Chrysanthemum salad, lasagna for two

Via Carota

51 Grove Street, New York, NY 10014

Another phenomenal Italian restaurant located in West Village. They take walk-ins daily and have limited reservations that open midnight ET 30 days in advance.

COTE Korean Steakhouse

16 West 22nd Street, New York, NY 10010

Cote is a Michelin starred Korean bbq restaurant in Flatiron we very much enjoy. Recommend: wedge salad & butcher's feast. You get more food than you think so don't over order. Reservations open 30 days in advance at 10AM EST. All of the grill top dining tables at COTE are sized for parties of 4 and up. COTE NYC is reservation based therefore walk-ins are not available. If you don't see reservations online, call them.

Puffy's Tavern

81 Hudson Street, New York, NY 10013

Tribeca neighborhood hot spot hole in the wall. You come to Puffy's for two things: sandwiches and beers. They serve some of the best sandwiches around, and only serve sandwiches, until they run out. Dart boards and a lively outdoor drinking scene.

Little Italy Pizza

154 Church Street, New York, NY 10007

Our favorite neighborhood pizza. Don't get anything fancy (i.e., stick with a classic pepperoni) ask for it well done. Does not disappoint.

Primo's

129 Chambers Street, New York, NY 10007

Bar located in the Tribeca hotel block, Primo's is a great place to gather and have a drink. Open late night for dancing on certain nights

Comedy Cellar

117 MacDougal Street, New York, NY 10012

The Comedy Cellar (ON MACDOUGAL ST) is arguably the most famous comedy club in Manhattan where many top New York comedians perform, and is often frequented by surprise acts (our friends were just blessed with a surprise Chapelle showing). Come here for one of the Friday shows for some laughs. Buy tickets in advance!

Khe-Yo

157 Duane Street, New York, NY 10013

Located conveniently near the Tribeca hotel, Khe-yo is a Laotian restaurant and favorite neighborhood dinner spot.

Hotel Fouquet's New York

456 Greenwich Street, New York, NY 10013

The hotel lobby bar, Titsou Bar, is a beautiful establishment. Intimate and immaculate. Best to come with a small party (2 ppl) or make a reservation in advance.

BATSU!

67 1st Avenue, New York, NY 10003

In Japan, there is a style of comedy known as batsu game (罰ゲーム), where comedians compete in challenges of all kinds with the losers receiving a punishment. BATSU! NYC brings this comedy style to America, with comedians competing to avoid punishments. For the fun late night crowd - come here for the Friday showing for sake and fun (buy a VIP ticket if possible). Just don't be too hung over for the wedding Saturday!!!

Salon 94

3 East 89th Street, New York, NY 10128

Free multi-level townhouse turned art gallery on upper east side

The Met Cloisters

99 Margaret Corbin Drive, New York, NY 10040

The Cloisters, also known as the Met Cloisters, is a museum in the Washington Heights neighborhood of Upper Manhattan, New York City. The museum, situated in Fort Tryon Park, specializes in European medieval art and architecture, with a focus on the Romanesque and Gothic periods

The Django

2 6th Avenue, New York, NY 10013

Great jazz show in the cave-like, Paris-inspired jazz venue & cocktail bar under the Roxy Hotel, with regular live acts.
