Villa Palagetto

We have reserved two villas for all of our guests for a long weekend: check-in Thursday, October 12th and check-out Sunday, October 15th. The villas are very close to each other on the same property, which we will have all to ourselves for the weekend! There is plenty of room for everyone to stay. The villas are a 5-10 minute walk into the town of San Gimignano. We'll send out more details about the villas (room choices, prices, etc.) as the date gets closer. Breakfast is included with each room reservation, and is served each morning on the property. Check-in at Villa Palagetto begins at 2:30pm and ends at 7pm on Thursday October 12th, so please plan to arrive during this time frame if possible (and in time for the welcome dinner to kick off the weekend!)

Aeroporto di Firenze-Peretola (FLR)

Florence is the capital of the region of Tuscany, and where the closest airport is located (approximately a 45 minute drive). If you'll be flying into a different city in Italy, Florence is easily reached by train (a 1.5 hour train ride from Rome).

Travel Note

Transportation

There is no direct train from Florence to San Gimignano. You can catch a Regionale train from Florence (Firenze Santa Maria Novella) to the Poggibonsi station, and then take a cab to Villa Palagetto. Feel free to rent a car if you plan to explore Tuscany - the views are unbelievable! If you'd prefer not to drive, we'd recommend arranging a taxi or driver from Florence (under an hour drive).
