Since the week before the wedding will be undoubtedly the busiest time before the big day, we will not be hosting a party beforehand. We look forward to celebrating this union all together the day of the wedding!
Instead of requesting material gifts, we are giving guests the opportunity to contribute a monetary gift through a newlywed fund. This fund will help finance our honeymoon, and things needed for our trip. For those who prefer not to pay online, we will be doing a Dollar Dance during the reception. (Be noted; there is a 2.5% credit card fee that is applied)
We will be providing water, tea, and various soft drinks. As well as beer on tap, and wine. Per venue restrictions, hard liquor is prohibited.
We found an amazing caterer who specialises in Italian cuisine. We will have two entree options, along with salad and a side, and it will be a buffet style set up. No need to check chicken or beef! Dinner will start at 6:30 p.m.
This will occur immediately after the ceremony, while the wedding party is taking pictures. Appetizers and drinks will be offered to guests during this hour, before dinner is served.
Seeing as the wedding is in Missouri, in April, the weather can be often times unpredictable. Make sure to bring something in case it gets chilly outside during the ceremony! The reception will be held indoors with regulated heating and cooling. Also, if desired, wear something, or bring a change of clothes so you can party it up with us on the dance floor while being comfortable. This is not a black tie event, cocktail party attire is preferred.
This is a short and simple answer... Absolutley! Bring your kiddos along to celebrate with us!
