Transportation to Events
To get on the Naval Base, you must be in a private vehicle either rental or personal. An Uber can not take you on base. The Main Security Gate has your name for Friday evening and Saturday to allow you on base. Only wedding guests and shuttle drivers who's names we have also provided to Base Security, will be allowed on base.
Friday evening there will be a Van running continuously from Walmart (199 Connell Hwy., Newport RI) and the O'Club, starting at 5PM. An Uber can get you to/from Walmart.
Saturday there will be a Shuttle bus from the Sonesta Hotel at 1:30 to St Mary's and will return following the Wedding. The shuttle will also leave Sonesta at 4:30PM for the Reception, returning at 9:45PM.
There will be a shuttle bus from the Serenity Inn at 1:40PM to St Mary's and return following the ceremony. Then departing Serinity Inn for the Reception at 4:45PM returning at 9:15PM.
The shuttle from Walmart to the Reception at 4:45PM & 5PM, returning to Walmart at 9:15 & 9:45PM.
