Growing up, Emma controlled the TV in the living room, so I reluctantly became a fan of watching Sex and the City, The Kardashians, and more cheesy Romantic Comedies than I can count (Fools Gold is still my favorite). I still love gossiping about these shows and movies with her to this day.

Doug is Anna’s favorite older brother! Three years her senior, Doug is a constant source of advice and laughs. A few years ago, he married the amazing bridesmaid, Leah, giving Anna her first sister ever. Doug now lives in Cleveland, but don't worry he still makes sure to join the annual Vail ski trip every year. Back in high school, when Anna was a freshman and Doug was a senior, she had the honor of being called "girl-Doug" all year long — a nickname that still gets a good laugh!
Best Man
Ryan is the smartest in the family and is better than me at everything. As our soccer coach eloquently put it, "Thomas can read the game, but Ryan can play it." He's an incredible musician who can pick up any instrument and learn to play it almost instantly. While I am the opposite, we still share a special love of music. He continues to teach me new things every time I spend time with him, and I genuinely treasure that about our relationship.

Curt is Anna's favorite little brother! Three years younger, Curt followed Anna to the University of Denver, where he was a freshman while she was a senior. On any given day, Anna would walk home to find Curt and his friends hanging out on her porch — because, of course, it was way better than the dorms. She even threw parties for his birthday. Curt now resides in Chicago, but we hope he'll make the move back to Denver soon!
Best Man
Stephen grew up across the street, so I've known him for as long as I can remember. We used to make terrible home movies with the neighborhood kids, which consisted mostly of Stephen pointing the camera at himself and making fun of our terrible attempts to act. However, karma has caught up to him because he used to sound like Alvin the Chipmunk and now tries to hide the videos from resurfacing (Don't worry, they will resurface at his wedding.) He is an extremely creative mind and is also the funniest person I've ever met. I can call Stephen down and out with terrible news, and by the end of the call, I'm in tears laughing. He can make anyone's day with a quick joke and carries a brightness few people in this world do.

Leah is Anna’s first-ever sister (though she already has three of her own!). She brings an infectious energy to every room she enters—whether it’s with her incredible sense of humor, her boundless passion, or her kind heart. Almost a year ago, she and Doug, gave Anna the best gift ever: a perfect niece named Ada. If you ever find yourself in Cleveland and Leah is in a play, drop everything and go see it! Leah has an incredible stage presence that will leave you laughing, crying, and maybe even wondering why she’s not on Broadway.
Best Man
Joe grew up just a block away from me, and we have been friends since elementary school. He has an energy and drive that I respect and admire every day. After college, when he took a job at an accounting firm in New York City, he would work 80-hour weeks and still meet me every Friday for dinner with the energy of someone working a part-time job. He would give you the shirt off his back and is the life of every party. Till this day, I don't know why he puts up with me but he's always there whenever I need.
Bridesmaid
The one who introduced us! Megshaw has been part of our lives since 2013, when she pulled Anna aside and said, “You should come to floor 10 with me—there are cute boys!” (Because, of course, they lived on an all-girls floor.) And wouldn't you know it—she was totally right! We’ve had the best times living with Megshaw, from cozy apartments in Fort Collins to homes around Denver. No matter where we are, it’s always a blast when she’s around! Together, we’ve hiked 14ers, skied, camped, and basically tackled every adventure under the sun. Megshaw is one of the kindest, sweetest, most loving people we know—and we’re so lucky to call her not just a best friend, but a bridesmaid too!
Best Man
Ryan, or as many call him, Aikman, met freshman year of college. We lived only a few doors down from each other and became fast friends when we both saw the same poster of Dave Matthews hanging on our walls. We have been inseparable ever since. Anna even refers to him as my second girlfriend. Even after moving apart after college, we still attend at least 3-5 Dave Matthews Band shows a year together, and they are truly the highlights of my year. We still text and share memes on Instagram almost every day, so there are very few days in a year I'm not sharing a laugh with him. I'm genuinely thankful to the University of Denver for putting us on the same floor because it has created a lifelong friendship I will cherish forever.

Megan is one of Anna’s best friends, having met during Anna’s senior year of college when Megan moved into The Black Pearl, Anna’s college home. Originally graduating from college in Duluth, MN, Megan made the move after her cousin, who attended DU, told her about an opening in Anna's house just down the street. They instantly became close friends when Anna accidentally gave herself Salmonella, and Megan stepped in to care for her at Julie's request. This past year has been especially exciting for Megan, with big life changes—getting engaged and welcoming baby June in February!
Groomsman
Millan is a one-of-a-kind person. My parents actually bought our house from his parents when we made the move from New Rochelle to Pelham, New York. Little did they know we would become friends the day I started elementary school in Pelham, and it became a lifelong friendship. His sense of humor is one of a kind, and few people in this world can make me spit out a drink after he delivers one of his signature dry/straight-faced jokes. To this day, I find it hard to tell when he's messing with me or if he's serious, but in either scenario, I always get a great laugh. He is a lawyer in New York City and extremely hard working, but always makes time to help with a traffic ticket or give me a good laugh over drinks. His only fault is his claim to be the best FIFA player in the friend group, and although he will deny it, I have beaten him many times.

Ari is one of Anna’s childhood best friends, having played soccer and softball together from middle school through high school. Although Anna eventually decided softball wasn't for her, their bond remained unbreakable. Though they look like complete opposites, their friendship was so strong that they were awarded “Most Inseparable” in their senior yearbook, a title that truly speaks to their lifelong connection. Ari also had an especially exciting past year, getting engaged last summer to the love of her life, marking a new and exciting chapter for her! Hope they're enjoying wedding planning!

Pat and I met while pledging Kappa Sigma in college and became fast friends. We both share a love of sports and making fun of each other's teams. Every year, we have a running bet that whoever has the better record, the NY Giants or the Denver Broncos, has to buy the other a steak dinner. Surprisingly, I won 3 times but Pat finally got his first victory this year. After college, we developed an even more special bond by buying last-minute cheap Nuggets tickets, and that has cooled our sports rivalry as we finally share a team we can root for together. Pat is one of the warmest, kindest people you will ever meet and has treated me like a brother in a city where I have no family. I love that he's always game for an adventure and a good time, even if it means he has to go to work deathly hungover. I was incredibly moved when he asked me to be a Groomsmen in his wedding, and I'm beyond excited to have him be one in mine.

Jenna is one of Anna’s best friends from their softball days. When COVID canceled her plans to work abroad for two years, Jenna turned that challenge into an adventure. She pivoted her plans and drove across the U.S., camping through the National Parks and embracing the great outdoors. Eventually, she settled in Denver—much to Anna's delight (and after much pleading from Anna, of course). Now, you can often find Jenna at Anna’s house, watching Harry Potter for the 60th time (or maybe it's the 100th?), much to the ongoing annoyance of Hunter and Tom.
Groomsman
Hunter has been in Anna's and my life since we met him in the first year of college. However, it wasn't until I became roommates with Hunter in sophomore year that our bond was solidified. It went so well that we are still roommates with Hunter to this day! He brings one-of-a-kind energy of love, kindness, and goofiness to his daily life, which I have experienced in only a handful of people. He took time right before a family wedding to do our engagement photos, where I accidentally hid him in a bush of poison ivy. Hunter didn't bring it up until weeks later because he didn't want me to feel guilty. While Hunter had a 4-hour drive facing him the following day, he still rallied to celebrate our special moment late into the night. This drive and dedication to his friends and work tell you all you need to know about Hunter's immense work ethic. There is rarely a time when I see him sitting still watching TV. He's always either editing the last photoshoot he did or leaving the house to capture another one. His individualism in both work and life is something I've always admired. I'm beyond glad to have him as a groomsman at my wedding and a guiding star of light in my life.
Bridesmaid
Mel is one of Anna’s best friends from their high school softball and soccer days. Now living in New York, the couple gets to visit her often when they go back to see Tom’s family. Mel is the best tour guide you could ask for—thanks to her expertise in Architecture and Interior Design, she can show you around the city with insights that you won’t get from any guidebook. Not to mention, she knows where all the best food is, from hidden local spots to the must-try trendy restaurants! Mel once stopped Anna, Tom, Millan, and Joe on the streets of NY—at midnight, no less—to point out a "very famous chaise lounge" in a shop window and of course, we all had to take a picture with it because it was just too funny.
