Turkey Trot Trail
A moderate 3.2mile loop hike near Red Rocks with a beautiful view that we love to do - takes about 2hrs to hike. It is about a 30minute drive from Denver to the trailhead
Panorama Point
Another beautiful moderate hike loop with a lovely Panorama View- 3.1 miles and takes about 1.5hrs. This is a 40 minute drive from Denver. The parking lot is small but you can also park along the highway.
Matthews / Winters Park Trail
An easy 4.8 mile out and back walk/hike near Red Rocks- so easy Anna took some kids she nannied here! It's beautiful and you can turn back at any point. Be sure to bring water because it is HOT and mostly in the sun.
St. Mary's Glacier
A moderate 1.6-mile out-and-back trail near Idaho Springs, Colorado. This hike offers spectacular views and the chance to visit a beautiful alpine lake and glacier. The hike takes an average of 1 hour and 45 minutes. It is about a 1 hour drive to the trailhead from Denver depending on traffic. The parking lot costs $20 (cash or check) per vehicle.

Nestled in the heart of City Park, the Denver Zoo is a wonderful place to explore, featuring over 4,000 animals from around the world. After taking in the vibrant exhibits, you can enjoy a leisurely walk through City Park itself.

Denver Botanic Gardens
Denver Botanic Gardens offers a peaceful escape into nature with over 23 acres of beautifully curated gardens. The gardens are the perfect place for a leisurely stroll, and they’re conveniently located next to Cheesman Park, where you can enjoy expansive lawns, tree-lined paths, and stunning city views.
University of Denver
Go see where it all started! We first met here during our freshman year in Centennial Halls. The campus itself is a beautiful blend of historic architecture and modern spaces, making it a lovely place to explore.

Dairy Block
Dairy Block is a vibrant micro-district located in Denver's historic LoDo neighborhood. Once the site of Windsor Dairy, it has transformed into a lively destination featuring a variety of 11 shops, 19 restaurants, and 8 bars. It is a 3 minute walk from the Oxford Hotel and a perfect place to visit if you choose to stay there!
The Denver Central Market
Denver Central Market is a vibrant food hall located in the heart of Denver's RiNo district. It’s just a 5-minute drive, 15-minute train ride, or 28-minute walk from the Vib Hotel—one of our hotel block options. If you choose to stay at the Vib Hotel, Denver Central Market is a great spot to check out, with plenty of other restaurants and breweries nearby, all within walking distance.
