Anthony and Lexi had mutual friends and had followed each other on Instagram. Anthony thought Lexi was cute and had been eyeing her profile for sometime. Anthony tried to play it cool at first, trying nonchalantly to get Lexi to flirt with him but he was always unsuccessful. Anthony finally got enough courage to be more direct and shoot his shot. Anthony slid into Lexi's DMs in August 2019. They had their first date at the Drunk Munk in November of 2019. The couple hit it off instantly. But, Anthony and Lexi both had dreams they wanted to fulfill. They never lost touch and would often circle back to one another. Anthony finally got enough courage to tell Lexi that he loved her in December 2022. The couple began dating and moved in with each other shortly after. On March 16th, 2024, Anthony took the ultimate leap and asked Lexi to marry him in front of her family in Cabo San Lucas.
