The sooner the better but please RSVP 1 month before the wedding, by May 26th, 2024.
“Summer Cocktail” is our theme which is less formal but still dressed up. We’re imagining florals & colorful dresses for the ladies in any hem length or dressy jumpsuits or pantsuits. The ceremony will be on the grass so please keep this in mind when choosing footwear. For men, lightweight suiting or a trousers with a blazer in fabrics like linen-tie optional. The planned wedding festivities will be taking place Weds & Thurs. It's most important to us to have everyone there Weds for the wedding and reception! We'll be there for a week or so prior but we're assuming most people will arrive a day or so before the wedding and start heading out by Thurs afternoon or evening.
Good question! It's a bit like San Francisco weather (but warmer). It's a green northern part of France so much like San Francisco, there is a friendly drizzle from time to time but also frequent beautiful sunny weather. In June it should be between 60-70F and sunny. Unlike San Francisco, you can swim in the ocean without a wetsuit! The wedding will be a daytime ceremony outdoors but long sleeves, a wrap or light jacket are recommended for night-time. The cocktail hour will be on the outdoor terrace unless it rains in which case we'll go inside the manor. For dinner and dancing, we will be indoors in a heated tent.
Yes! Let us know if you'll be bringing kids and how many. There will be a local professional babysitting service on site called, Baby Chou. They will be providing games and snacks for the kids and a separate place to sleep during the dancing up until 1AM. More details will be provided.
Yes. There will be a shuttle service between Lesconil and the Manoir de Kerouzien, the wedding venue. Shuttle Schedule will be posted.
We recommend checking out Hotel Du Port in Lesconil, right in the port of Lesconil and Airbnbs within the vicinity. There's also a few "Camping" areas which are not for tents but have little rentable beach houses. The Camping Areas are equipped with playgrounds and could be great for families with kids. Most of our friends and family will be staying in Lesconil in Airbnbs where we will be playing on the beach and spending time together leading up to the wedding day. We strongly recommend booking a spot there as early as possible.
TBD for now, but we're hoping to have some casual get togethers as well as a dinner leading up to the wedding, so we would love it if you could stay local to hang with us!
Absolutely! Let us know and we will do our best to accomodate.
