Camp Westwind
Camp Westwind is in the Cascade Head UN Biosphere, on the Oregon Coast. It is a 2-hour drive from Portland. The camp, where the wedding weekend will take place, is only accessible by foot. All wedding guests will be required to park at the farm, located at the entrance to the property, and hike two miles on a flat trail to reach the venue. Luggage will be transported separately via truck/tractor.

Traveling to Westwind
DRIVING YOUR SELF Please arrive between 2:00 and 3:30 PM. (Give yourself a minimum of 2 hours for the drive) The most direct route from Portland is through Newburg and out highway 18 toward Lincoln City. You will want to set your GPS to the Cascade Head Interpretive Wayside. You will be directed through the gate and to the farm when you arrive. There is ample car parking at the farm. Your car can be parked here over the weekend. SHUTTLE Pick up at the Jupiter Hotel at 10:30 AM. For those coming out of town, a shuttle has been scheduled from Portland to Westwind, there will be one pick up in east Portland at the Jupiter Hotel and a second will be arranged if needed depending on where people are staying in Portland. Please let us know if you'd like a spot on the bus by indicating so in your RSVP.

Where to Stay
No need to pay for a hotel over the weekend - we have you covered. There are two accommodation options at Westwind: tent camping or staying in a cabin. CABINS The cabins are rustic and can accommodate 9 people each. We will do our best to get you bunking with people you know. The cabins are heated, have electricity, and are outfitted with full-sized beds. Bedding will be provided for those who have not brought their own (top and bottom sheet, pillow cases, pillows, blankets, towels). Please let us know, in your RSVP, if you are planning to bring your own bedding. TENTS If you opt to camp in a tent throughout the weekend, you'll need to bring your tent and bedding! There is plenty of tent space a short walk from the main lodge down by the beach. Please see the "Packing List" tab for more details on what to bring. PORTLAND If you are planning to fly in on Friday, to prepare for travel on Saturday, we recommend looking into staying at the Jupiter Hotel or the Jupiter Next Hotel. Other nice hotels around Portland include Canopy Hotel, The Kennedy School, Hotel DeLux.
