FAQs

Question

What do I wear?

Answer

Our ceremony is semi-formal. For women: cocktail dresses, maxi dresses or jumpsuits similar to what your would wear to a wedding in the states. For shoes, we recommend a dressy sandal, chunky heel or wedge since we will be on the beach. For men: pants, a dress shirt and closed toed shoes, such as a loafer or a boat shoe. Jackets and ties are optional.

Question

Do I need a passport?

Answer

Yes!

Question

If I stay off property, can I buy a day pass to come hang out?

Answer

Unfortunately, the Divi does not sell day passes. You can buy food and drink vouchers at the concierge desk and come hang out at a bar or on the beach but you don't have to do any of that for the wedding itself. Just show up! :)

Question

How long should I stay?

Answer

We encourage you to come for as much or as little time as you want! Tom and Bethany are staying 3/26/25 to 4/2/25. The wedding is on Saturday. We'll likely have a couple fun things planned for Friday and Sunday but they will be totally optional. Do whatever works for you! Keep in mind, if you decide to stay at one of the Divi properties, there is a 3-night minimum.

Question

How do I get from the airport to the Divi?

Answer

There are taxis outside the airport that will take you to the Divi. It costs about $25-$30.

Question

Will my cell phone work in Aruba?

Answer

You have a couple of options when it comes to cell phone service in Aruba. Since we'll be in another country, roaming charges will apply if you don't do something to prevent it. Most providers offer an international plan (for example, Verizon's is $10/day) so you don't have to worry. Alternatively, you could turn off your cellular data or keep your phone in airplane mode and just connect to WiFi.
