Bekah and Emmett met as founding members of the historic Scripps Park soccer franchise, which after more than ten years remains undefeated in rec basketball. Eventually growing tired of dominating the adult recreational soccer scene with their individual brilliance, they decided to team up in late 2017. Their love started as an ember but soon engulfed them both in roaring flame. Since that time, they have focused on sharing their talents - Bekah's baking, community building and sour beer appreciation and Emmett's above average height - with the culmination of that effort being their wedding, where they hope you feel the love and community that they feel and are so excited to share.

Bekah and Emmett met in the spring of 2013 playing soccer on the world-renowned Scripps Park club in the Detroit City Football League. They can't name an exact date and they definitely don't remember the specific occasion, but after a few years of growing older and growing up, Bekah started thinking of Emmett as more than someone with a higher center of gravity that she could level easily (on the pitch of course). Now as most know, Bekah is absurdly impatient to the point of impractical, only matched by her stubbornness. Emmett's own intractability is only matched by his pragmatism- which lead to a war of wills that lasted a little longer than Bekah wanted. Thankfully, in late 2017 the match was official and they now only use their powers (mostly) for good. Bekah even admits that maybe Emmett was right about taking things slow. Maybe. Which leads us to now: Bekah and Emmett are getting hitched! They are so excited to share the day with you- and excited that you will be there to share it with them.
