Wedding Transportation - Vail Shuttle
There is a free Town Shuttle that goes between East Vail and West Vail. The Green Line, will be the best line to get to the Donovan Pavilion for our Wedding. For those staying in Vail Village, the Vail Village Transportation Center will be the best stop, for those staying at the Evergreen Lodge at Vail, the Hospital/Municipal Building will be the best stop, and for those staying at the Antlers, or elsewhere in Lionshead, the West Lionshead Plaza will be the best stop. The shuttle will leave the Vail Village Transportation Center at 3:20 PM, arrive at the Hospital/Municipal Building Stop at 3:22 PM, then arrive at the West Lionshead Plaza at 3:24 PM. From there the third stop after West Lionshead Plaza will be the Matterhorn stop at 3:31 PM which is near the Donovan. From the Matterhorn stop you walk across the bridge towards Donovan Park, and then walk on the Gore Valley Trail along the creek for a short ¼ mile until the path up to the Donovan Pavilion is on the left. If you reach the tennis courts, you have walked too far! The Vail Village Transportation Center is located on the roof of the Vail Village Parking Garage on the West side. The address is 241 S Frontage Rd E, Vail, CO 81657 The Hospital/Municipal Building Stop is located a 3-minute walk from the Evergreen Lodge at Vail, heading east along the frontage road and then crossing to the north side of the street in front of the police station. On google maps it comes up as the Hospital/Municipal Center – Westbound. The West Lionshead Plaza stop is located a 2-minute walk from the Antlers right outside the Concert Hall Plaza. The address is 616 W Lionshead Cir, Vail, CO 81657. For the return trip the Red Line is the more expedient line, though the Green Line would also get you around, it would just be a longer trip as it is the Westbound shuttle. Some options for the return along the Red Line also leaving from the Matterhorn Stop are 9:24 PM, 10:04 PM, and 10:44 PM. The reception will be ending at 10:30PM.

In addition to the Vail Shuttle information above, here are a few different options that could be used to get to the Venue. If you feel like walking the Gore Valley Trail (paved) also goes right by the venue and is a nice walk along the creek. Additionally, many of the hotels have personal shuttles to transport you around town. Your hotel front desk can also provide some options on transportation even if they do not have a shuttle. There is Uber and Lyft in Vail, but availability may be limited. We care about everyone's safety and ask people who will have one or more drinks to please not drive. Denver International Airport
Denver International Airport is the biggest airport in Colorado and is only a two hour drive from Vail. If you fly into DEN you can rent a car or take a mountain shuttle to Vail.

Eagle County Regional Airport
Located 35 miles West of Vail. Another option but flights will probably be more expensive.

There are numerous hotel options in the Vail area. Below are a few options, but please stay wherever you are comfortable. You can also look at AirBnB and VRBO. East Vail is going to be the cheapest part of town. The venue is located in West Vail and the closest hotel to the venue is the Grand Hyatt. We will be staying at the Arabelle (in Lionshead) and many family members have already booked at the Antlers (in Lionshead).
