If you are not used to the altitude then some may take a couple days to acclimate. Vail is situated at 8,150 feet above sea level. If you are not able to come in early then a few options are - Boost oxygen cans (sold at numerous stores in Vail), altitude medication, and always drink lots of water. Please note, many people have a lower alcohol tolerance when at altitude.
