The Wedding Website of Becca Mostofi and Katya Shackelford
For out of town guests, we recommend flying in to SeaTac International Airport (SEA) and renting a car. There are two ways to get to/from Fort Worden: 1. Ferry - either from Edmonds to Kingston or Seattle to Bainbridge Island. 2. Driving "down and around" through Tacoma and up the Olympic Peninsula. **We strongly recommend driving down and around if you plan on arriving on Saturday. The ferry is magical, but prone to delays and significant backups.** Please reach out if you would like to talk about this! We'd much rather talk our guests through the travel process than have you stress! We're also happy to try and connect folks to carpool.

The Palace Hotel is an antique filled Victorian establishment. There are 16 rooms and each is named for a girl who once worked there. Some still believe the girls are still there haunting the halls.

Washington State Ferries (WSDOT)

Taking a ferry is a true Seattle experience! You can drive your car on and then get out and take in the sights as you cross the Sound! If you're lucky, you may even see an Orca! It is recommended to arrive early. You often need to wait in the ferry line, especially on the weekend. These routes do not take reservations. Ferry options: 1. Edmonds-Kingston route. No reservation required. 2. Seattle-Bainbridge route. No reservation required. **Note - there is a Port Townsend ferry - this is NOT one you will take/need to consider.**
