Yes! If your kiddo wasn't on your invitation and you'd like them to join, please let us know! Fort Worden is a wonderful place to explore. We just ask that you keep an eye on them and refrain from letting them operate heavy machinery. We will also understand if you'd prefer a childless weekend!

Well... Late September in the PNW... Could be sunny. Could be rainy. Could be hot. Could be cold. Could be smokey. Could be anything and everything! Bring layers and as we get closer we will update y'all, if needed, with a plan b for weather!

What is Fort Worden?
Answer
From Lé Wiképedia- "Fort Worden was a United States Army Coast Artillery Corps base constructed to protect Puget Sound from invasion by sea." Thankfully, the only threat to Fort Worden today is from weather, angry sea otters, and Becca's 7 nieces and nephews. Fort Worden is now home to many hiking trails, pretty things, museums, art groups, and deer (so many deer!).
