Both the wedding and reception will be held at The View at Bluemont!

What is the dress code?

Cocktail attire - We suggest that men wear slacks, dress shirts, and jackets and women wear cocktail dress or a nice pantsuit.

What weather should I expect?

Answer

Of course, we can’t guarantee anything, but temperatures are typically in the 60s-70s in September in VA.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding will be held outdoors on the terrace as long as the weather permits.

Is there parking for the reception and ceremony?

Answer

Yes, the ceremony and reception are in the same location and parking is nearby. Please follow the parking signs. We will also have a shuttle for transportation to and from our preferred hotel accommodation.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We love your kids - we really do, but we have planned an adults-only event. We kindly ask that you make arrangements for your kids for the night of the wedding.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says "and Guest", then yes, if not, we ask that it is just you. We will only have seats for guests that are listed on your invitation.
