Annie Grace Chapman

Matron of Honor

Annie and I met at a Bible study around 2019 and since then, we have become the best of friends! It’s like we’ve known each other our entire lives. I literally feel like she’s my sister! We have so much fun together from making shakes and brownies for dinner to a jeep trip to Tennessee and sleeping in the pancake house parking lot. I have so enjoyed watching her become a wife and mom and still making time for her Bestie! Any day with Annie is such a blessing. Her love for Jesus and people is so beautiful! I’m so excited she said yes to being by my side!

Chandler Mackenzie Amos

Bridesmaid

Funny thing about Chandler is we actually met each other while cheering for The University of Rio Grande, but we didn’t talk much until after cheer! We saw each other at a gas station one day, and soon became the best of friends! We spent many days doing Zumba together and working out at the YMCA. We’ve done a few 5k’s together And I’ve had the pleasure of standing with her and watching her marry Seth and become a mom to Elliot who is the cutest little girl with the biggest personality! Chandler and I love to talk at the gym or after Zumba! We will get done with our workout and talk for another one or two hours, lol. I’m so pumped that she said yes to joining me on Jared and I’s big day!

Jordan Lee Hatten

Bridesmaid

Jordy is my rad cousin whom I’ve had the pleasure of growing up with! We have had so many awesome memories, and still continue to make them! Some of my favorite memories are when we would make up dance moves to random songs, while playing dress up and performing for our family; and swimming in the creek at my old house to come inside and swim in my mom’s bathtub (which felt like a giant pool at the time). I can’t go without mentioning our many trips to Tennessee and the Gum ball machine at The Edgewater Hotel! Haha. Jordy is such a unique amazing person with the hugest heart and I’m so thankful she is in my life and going to be beside me on my wedding day and for the rest of our lives.

Megan Michelle Moore

Bridesmaid

Megan and I used to be attached at the hip in high school! If you saw one of us, you knew the other one was close. We would always try to schedule our classes around each other, and we bowled, played soccer, and performed in the drama club together. Megan, Amber and I would have multiple sleepovers with pool parties and scary movie nights! We even had part of our senior pictures taken together at Easton mall! Since high school we have not seen each other quite as often, but when we reconnect it’s just like old times! I am so thankful for Megan in my life!! I can’t wait to share this day with her!

Amber Leann Moss

Bridesmaid

Amber and I graduated high school together! Go Pioneers! We bowled together and had many awesome sleepovers where we would sneak out onto her roof to sit and talk girl things, to soon go souring through the window about breaking ribs when her parents would come in! Her laugh is contagious and she is such an amazing friend! We continue to stay in touch and I absolutely love that! When we are able to see each other, It’s like time never passed. I was so excited when Amber told me she couldn’t miss my big day!

Sara Kate Smith

Bridesmaid

Oh, sweet Sara! We literally met while working on the same play at the Majestic theater! Sara was the most unexpected best friend I could ask for! Not only did she love acting, but she also love the Lord and we became amazing friends, super fast! We even went to Israel together in 2018 and got baptized in the Jordan River! Not to mention floating in the Dead Sea and eating all the Mediterranean food we wanted! Hanging out with Sara is always one of my favorite things! Our conversations are so enriching and she is one of the smartest most amazing people I know! I’m so thankful the Lord put her in my life and I’m forever thankful and look forward to her sharing my wedding day with me!

Dustin James Dixon

Best Man

Dustin and I first met in Youth group. He was the guy walking around with a guitar and Andy cap hot fries, and singing a lot of songs I had never heard of. We got close again when we ran into each other playing Pokemon go in the Gallipolis park in 2016, and his family started attending that same church again. Pretty soon it become an almost weekly occurrence that Id run over to their house to watch a scary movie, play board games, or just spend time talking to him and Brittany. We've been together through 4 different houses, and he even gave me a key to the first one (which I still have on my key ring). We've been together in the best of times and the worst of times, and he's been a dear friend through it all.

James Markel Casto

Groomsman

Oh Jameson... where to begin. Like a lot of my friendships this one began at church. A story I'm sure will be played out in most of these, but it's where we begin. We talking off and on at church since his girlfriend (now wife) was a coworker at Holzer. We took a trip to the New River Gorge to hike and came back close friends. From all the times they invited me to Bdubs to hang out when I needed it, to the deep conversation, advice, and encouragement he gave me. James is definitely someone who I consider an important friend some who will always have my back; but also a gentleman and a scholar!

Ryan Thomas Mitchener

Groomsman

Ryan and I had an interesting first meeting. It started with my sister bringing some guy home from college. Now as the only brother I had to make sure this guy knew what would happen if... well you know. It didn't take long for us to find a lot of things in common and enjoy spending time talking about them. From staying in his dorm room watching him play Skyrim, to being in his and my sister wedding, to always being welcomed to visit them to play with the niece and nephew. After all this time he's definitely moved past the brother-in-law to just brother in my book.

David Edward Leaphart

Groomsman

Dave and I start our story in college. He started coming to a bible study group on campus I was attending. Would would hang out, play ping-pong, and were in a couple smaller bible studies together. We reconnected again when he started attending Vertical Church Gallipolis while we were in core group early on. He'd come over and eat my ok cooking, and usually beat me at board games. But the times we'd talk and encourage one another in our life and faith walk are the best memories together. Dave is a talker and there's plenty of times those conversations would go very late into the night, but having a true friend who cares and supports is worth more than sleep. I'm excited to have Dave among the guys with me on my "big" day!

Joe William Schenk

Groomsman

I met Joe in college when I started attending a bible study group on campus. Joe would help out with doing different things and he would teaching occasionally. Joe invited me over for dinner, and then he invited me to a bible study at his house, and quickly it became the norm to be at his place. Over the years after college I still found myself visiting often. Joe and Amber always showed a deep love for people and community even when life was confusing and hard for them. They taught me a lot about caring for people and building relationships in Christ. Even if life gets busy and we don't talk for a while when I walk in to visit; it feels like I like I never left.

Jacob Tyler Bing

Groomsman

Jake and I go way back. Like way way back. We first met at church (surprise surprise) when we were around 6 or 7. There have been too many memories from high school and beyond to pick just one to mention. But if I had to pick one thing it'd be all the times we'd go to Taco Bell late at night and either serenade the workers or do some other goofy thing while ordering bags of food. Very few people have friends of 25 years or more, and if you do you know there's something special there.
