COVID-19 & FAQs

Below you will find details regarding COVID-19 safety along with other, more normal, wedding FAQs. We cannot stress enough that we do not want anyone to feel uncomfortable and completely understand if you are not able to attend. We want to be transparent and give everyone the information they need to make their own decisions. We will continue to update this page as necessary and communicate any unanticipated changes. Please let us know if you have any other questions via email (baronewedding2021@gmail.com) or phone/text (860-836-2448)
Question

If I am not fully vaccinated, should I get tested? If so, where?

Answer

We strongly encourage and prefer that anyone who is not fully vaccinated receive a COVID-19 test ahead of the weekend. You can search for testing locations near you at: https://www.hhs.gov/coronavirus/community-based-testing-sites/index.html

Question

I'm traveling from out of state, do I need a COVID-19 test?

Answer

Safety is our top priority, we please ask you to follow the Massachusetts Travel Advisory, linked here https://www.mass.gov/info-details/covid-19-travel-advisory. Please note, we strongly encourage and prefer that anyone who is not fully vaccinated receive a negative COVID test within 72 hours of the wedding.

Question

What will the day look like? *As of May 17th - subject to change with Massachusetts's guideline updates

Answer

Our ceremony will be followed by a reception with cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. The venue is completely outdoors and will be under a tent. We will have yard games outside of the tent. Effective May 29th -In line with CDC guidance, non-vaccinated individuals are to continue wearing face masks and to continue distancing in most settings. Fully vaccinated individuals do not need to wear a face covering or social distance.

Question

Is your wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both our ceremony and reception will take place outside. Our ceremony will be in the garden outside of the tent and our reception will take place under the garden tent at the Publick House.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. For ladies, think cocktail dresses, nice slacks, skirts, etc. and for the gentleman think suits, dress pants, button-up, or a sports coat. Our ceremony will be taking place on a grassy area, so be cautious with any stiletto heels.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30, so please plan to arrive prior.

Question

Answer

We promise to share photos taken by our talented professional photographer with you after the big day! After, at the reception, we encourage you to snap away and would love for our guests to post pictures to their social media channels!
