Salzburg Via Frankfurt Flying directly into Salzburg via layover in Frankfurt. Most USA hubs have direct flights to Frankfurt (Raleigh-Durham, Boston, Newark, JFK, Charlotte, Atlanta, Chicago, Miami, Washington Dulles, Los Angeles, San Francisco). Salzburg via Vienna Flying direct to Vienna and taking the train to salzburg (2.5hr train ride) or renting a car and driving (3hr drive).
