FAQs

Question

Will masks be required?

Answer

You may wear a mask if it makes you feel more comfortable, but nobody will be required or asked to wear a mask. We kindly request if you’re not feeling your best to stay home.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear a cocktail or floor length dress, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat.

Question

Can I take pictures and post them on social media?

Answer

Of course! We encourage guests to take and post pictures on to their social media! Our only request is that you tag each photo you post with our wedding hashtag #becomingburnside so we can keep track of all of your pictures.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

The first two hours of the reception will be an open bar. After the two hours, it will turn into a cash bar at which guests are welcome to purchase drinks at their own expense.

Question

Where is the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held at the same location. The Paddock at Champions Circle 3264 Championship Pkwy Fort Worth, TX 76177

Question

Should I fly in to Dallas Love Field Airport (DAL) or Dallas Forth Worth International Airport (DFW)?

Answer

It depends on which airline you prefer, where you are coming from and if you’re renting a car or not. American Airlines flies into DFW which is closest to the hotel & venue, but potentially more expensive. Southwest flies into DAL but is farther from the hotel & venue but the flight could cost significantly less.

Question

What hotels are in the area?

Answer

We suggest taking advantage of our “Room Block” for Wedding Guests which allows you to book a room for the night of September 17 and September 18. The link to reserve a room is under the Travel Page.

Question

Will there be table and seating arrangements?

Answer

We will have three tables reserved for the Bride’s family and three tables reserved for the Groom’s family. Other than those tables, guests are welcome to sit wherever they please.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Dallas in September can range anywhere from a high of 89 degrees Fahrenheit during the day to a low of 69 degrees Fahrenheit in the evening. Expect warm weather for the outdoor ceremony, but bring a light jacket for the indoor/outdoor reception.

Question

Is the Wedding indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoor (weather permitting) and the reception will be indoor and outdoor (patio area)

Question

What will happen after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around half an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception hall where hors d’oeuvres will be served and beverages will be available at the bar.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list in order to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question
