THREE DAYS

March 22, 2016 - Curtis didn’t want anything serious, and I was just excited to meet somebody who owned a boat. However. from that day forward, we were almost inseparable. Neither of us wanted to admit how much we were already falling for the other. Things were complicated, but I knew one thing was for sure — He and his two little boys had already stole my heart. Fast forward through the next few years. We remained all each other ever wanted. We grew within ourselves together as well as apart. Four years later and we ultimately had a new type of devotion for the other. We shared unconditional and unwavering love. A bond that from then on would never be broken. We then found out that we would be expecting a baby. On August 13, 2020, we got to give his two boys a little baby sister. March 25, 2021 - Curtis proposed to me at my family cabin in Colorado. He knew popping the question there would mean the world to me. Needless to say, it was a trip we both will never forget. And finally, come September 18, 2021, I will be #becomingburnside and taking his last name. His boys, whome I’ve loved like my own all these years, will officially be our boys. We will finally become one and I cannot wait. Our happily ever after is already my favorite.
