Kyle and Michelle met in the most romantic way possible: on Tinder! Despite her family's warnings that "people on that app have foot fetishes," Michelle met up for drinks and dinner with Kyle at Big Grove Brewery in Iowa City for their first date. They stayed and talked for hours about their families, worst dates, favorite Christmas songs, and if Kyle could pull off wearing cardigans. Shortly after their first date, Michelle went back to Naperville to stay with her parents during winter break from school. She missed Kyle during her time away, and decided to take a quick trip back to Iowa City for New Years. Michelle and Kyle had their second date on New Year's day, which consisted of playing absurdly fast speed Bingo and eating buffalo wings at Mellow Mushroom in the Coralville mall. When Michelle stepped away to the bathroom, their waitress stopped her and sweetly said she could tell that "he reeeealllllly likes you". Michelle returned to Iowa City to finish school and she and Kyle quickly became pretty much inseparable. Kyle and Michelle now reside in Chicago together, where they have been for the last 4 years. During the 6 years they've spent together, Kyle and Michelle's favorite activities have included spending loads of time together travelling, playing tons of board games, and watching movies. Michelle appreciates how kind, funny, and lighthearted Kyle is, and is so thankful she gets to spend the rest of her life with him!
