Is there a dress code?

We want you to be comfortable in anything that you wear - we just ask no jeans or hats (feel free to wear hats during the reception).

How do I RSVP?
Answer
You can RSVP several ways. You can detach the bottom portion of the wedding invitation and send that back to us or you can RSVP using our wedding website.

What weather should I expect?
Answer
We were hoping with our October wedding it would be nice and cool weather. Since Virginia weather is so unpredictable sometimes, it may be a bit warmer or a bit cooler than we are expecting. That said, we would advise you to bring an extra layer that you can use or not depending on the weather.

What time does the ceremony start?

The ceremony will begin at 4:00 in the afternoon.

Are there hotel accommodations for out of town guests?
Answer
We recommend two hotels that are located in FarmVille - which is about 20 minutes away from the venue. One hotel is the Hotel Weyanoke and the second hotel is Hotel Inn Express & Suites.

Yes! There is a great deal of parking at the venue.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?
Answer
You may arrive as early as 30 minutes before the ceremony begins.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception be inside or outside?
Answer
Our goal is to have the ceremony outside near the pond and the cocktail hour and reception inside and outside. For the cocktail hour and reception seating will be spread out meaning partially inside the barn and partially outside of the barn. The dance floor will be located outside of the barn.

Yes, there will be an open bar!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony and reception to post on social media?
Answer
Yes! We just ask that during the ceremony you keep phone use to a minimum.

When will I receive the RSVP and when is the deadline to return it?
Answer
RSVPs will be mailed in June and we ask to have them back by September 28th.
