Our story started six years ago ((it will be seven years on our wedding day;)). We met in high school through mutual friends. Our first ‘date’ was at a Chris Young concert… and the rest is history!

On Christmas of 2021, Cody surprised me with a scavenger hunt. The gift at the end of the hunt was a trip to a BEAUTIFUL cabin in the mountains during my spring break. I immediately called our best friends, Chandler and Justin, to tell them about my gift. Come to find out, they were coming with us to the cabin! Flash forward to spring break, we were heading to the mountains. We spent Friday evening just hanging out. On Saturday, we went to some of the brewery’s nearby. Once we got back to the cabin, we wanted to take some pictures with the mountains in the background. Cody and I were taking many pictures when all of a sudden I turned around and he was down on his knee proposing! It was so amazing - from our best friends being there to one of my favorite songs, ‘Boyfriend’ by Hardy, playing in the background.
