In 2016, we met volunteering at the local Christian Help for a journalism 101 class at West Virginia University. It was a few months later after that day we happen to match on a dating app. Our first date was watching The Dark Knight and Space Jam. Jamie served Budweiser and burnt Halloween cookies as a snack (we still laugh about it till this day!) Three days later... (without any hesitation from Austin) Jamie told him that he was going to be her boyfriend... And we've been together ever since. We've been through many milestones together in these wild and wonderful eight years. From getting their dogs and loves of their life, Charlie & Sunny, to surviving three years long distance, and purchasing their first home together in Morgantown. We're excited to embark on a new journey as husband and wife.

On an early morning in July, Austin decided to take Jamie for an early morning walk on Penfield Beach in Fairfield, CT. It was beautiful and peaceful morning. Austin gets down on one knee and pops the big question! Jamie answers "YES! ...FINALLY!!!" Making the moment extra special, Austin's mom, Barbara, was there to capture photos of the moment!
