Should be beautiful! Definitely check the weather forecasts as we get closer, but the average low is 49 degrees and average high is 70 degrees.
Please aim for September 30th so we can anticipate as much as possible!
You came to the right place! Just click the "RSVP" option at the very top of the page (it's the furthest to the right), enter your first & last name and you'll be shown the different events you're invited to be part of. We expect most out-of-town Guests to arrive January 3 or 4 just before the wedding. But, knowing we’re celebrating just after some pretty big holidays, we know a number of friends who will arrive earlier to ring in the New Year at some of the spectacular theme parks nearby! Helpful tip from Em based on her past misfortunes: to avoid plane bloat that would prevent you from comfortably wearing your wedding attire, plan to arrive at least 36 hours before the wedding!
We've tried our best to include significant others in our invites, but we know we were not able to invite everyone initially. Please let us know if you have someone you want to bring, and we'll let you know closer to the day if we can accommodate!
We would recommend the Orlando Marriott Lake Mary, the Westin Lake Mary, and the Hampton Inn & Suites Lake Mary! They're all close to a bunch of shops and restaurants, and we have a special group rate (see: Travel & Lodging) We would *not* recommend any hotels in Sanford.
The venue provides complimentary valet parking! Woohoo!
Sure are! Check out that handy dandy REGISTRY tab above to see all of the neat gifts we added to our wish list thanks to the easy, convenient and user-friendly registry tool offered by Zola! *Zola didn't pay us to say that, but if they want to pay us, we're super open to that. :)
It's about 40 minutes to any of the above! Definitely doable to stay at a resort hotel of your choice to enjoy some Central Florida magic or at a beachside Airbnb to soak up some sunshine and drive into Sanford just for the wedding (or the other way around!).
This answer is best addressed in two parts. Also Zola has a character limit on FAQs. PART 1 Austin: Usually snagging Disney discounts and park tickets for friends is incredibly life-giving for Emily, but during the week of the wedding we anticipate having other priorities on our list to get to. So it's gotta be a no THIS time. But if you come visit anytime before or after the wedding, let us know! Beyond that, I'm sure Em will add a much more in-depth and gentle response that feels like a warm hug while communicating the same thing.
Emily: Oh my golly, you know we’d love to literally and sincerely any time! You truly mean so much to us, and that’s why you’re invited in the first place. We know that we are very blessed to get to live and work in such a magical space, and we truly love sharing the benefits of that as much as possible. And we are so excited that your visit for our big day can be extra pixie-dusted with some bonus vacation time—goodness knows, y’all deserve it! While we really would love to be able to gift tickets and secure resort discounts and book FastPasses and arrive at rope drop to hop on the best rides and eat Mickey bars with every single one of you, we’d have to harness some serious Marvel-universe level time travel (sorry, spoilers) to be able to help with vacation pieces and spend quality time with everyone we hope will join us for our wedding day. We promise we’ll be so excited to see pictures from your ride down Splash Mountain, and please be sure to let us know the next time you visit!
Punch it, Chewy. Seriously, we love that you're traveling just for us, and we promise you're going to meet some of the most awesome Humans (and maybe even Aliens) in the galaxy as part of it. If you need help locking down accommodations or are looking for some super co-pilots to join you for a ride from the airport, shoot us an email at hulsewagnerwedding@gmail.com (and kindly include who you believe shot first), and we'll help connect you with some new pals! *This message was written by Emily without Austin's approval. Hopefully it's not too nerdy and there's still a wedding to attend.
First of all, don't say sorry for this, or Emily will make you watch a video starring an emotionally savvy Barbie who will encourage you NOT to apologize for such things* (followed by three episodes of Queer Eye). We promise it's okay, we completely understand, we still love you, and we would LOVE to celebrate with you next time we get to see you! We're hoping to visit our Midwest relatives and Upstate New York roots soon, plus we're so eager to get back to China, so we may even invite ourselves to celebrate with you! *Austin's note: it's okay if you didn't say sorry for this, too, and feel free to disregard here. Some of us have healthy boundaries around the powerful word that is "sorry."
