If you're not sure what you want to do or where you want to go, Old Town Trolley Tours will show you all of Savannah's greatest hits!
Go for a stroll or grab a cute photo of yourself. It's beautiful, and because Savannah isn't as cold in the winter, it's actually still enjoyable in December!
Want to see the beach where The Last Song with Miley Cyrus was filmed? Tybee Island is it! Even if you aren't a Hannah Montana fan, there are lots of wonderful restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and beach fun to have!
The Juliette Gordon Low house is where the Girls Scouts was founded! This is such a fun historic piece of Savannah! Totally worth every dollar. Even if you've never been a Girl Scout!
The tours can be long, but oh, so worth it! If you love all things airplanes and Air Force, this is the place to go!
Try and time your visit so you can hear the canons! This is one of the coolest historical tours we've been on. But if you are queasy when it comes to medical stuff, be cautious, as they do have a portion where they talk about old timey medicine and surgical procedures during wartimes.
We know a lot of you are bringing your children, so if you want a fun daytime adventure, try out the Children's Museum!
Want to go shopping while you're here? Tanger Outlets in Pooler has everything!
As many of you know, Jack and Rachel met (and fell in love) at SCAD. If you want to know how SCAD came to be, check out SCADstory! It's free to everyone and a 4D experience.
Try 6 wines for $3!!! They're small pours, but they pack a punch! And they're all local to the state of Georgia. If wine tasting isn't your thing, they also have some of the best wine and moonshine smoothies! And with Savannah's open container law downtown, you can sip while you shop!
You don't have to stay here to enjoy the fun! Dinosaurs. That's all I gotta say. There's also a lovely Christmas market with local vendors usually through the first of the year.
The line is super long most of the time, but it's a must if you want to experience Savannah fully!
It's a splurge, but we're told it's worth it! Eat in one of the oldest restaurants in Savannah, and enjoy the history!
More beers than you can possibly dream of, onion rings to die for, and a great atmosphere for all ages!
One of the best Mexican restaurants around! There are multiple locations in Savannah, so try whichever one. You won't be disappointed.
Great southern classic with the best ranch ever!
Famous for being the restaurant Jenny worked at in Forrest Gump, but this place doesn't just talk the talk. It walks the walk. The food is very homestyle and the atmosphere is unmatched. Great place to have a bite to eat but also experience one of the many filming locations Savannah is known for! (If you want to see where they filmed the bench scene, take the half-mile walk and head to Chippewa Square.)
One of the best breakfast spots in the city!
An outdoor venue built from shipping containers with rotating food trucks daily, this is the place to go if you want to experience a uniquely Savannah place. There's often music and always plenty of alcohol and delicious food. It is dog-friendly as well as appropriate for people of all ages. So, bring the whole family!
Want a fun rooftop bar with slides? Yes, we said SLIDES! This place offers great vibes and great bartenders, most of which are great at coming up with surprise drinks you'll love!
This place is small but really has a hole-in-the-wall vibe. It also only accepts cash, so keep that in mind before you step inside.
This isn't just a coffee shop, it's a bar, hence the clever name! So, you can get anything from a vanilla latte to a shot of vodka to a cinnamon roll, all under one roof. How could you pass this up!
Great spot for coffee, dessert, or lunch! The mismatched furniture and rotating art gallery inside keeps people coming back.
There a million different types of cruises you can go on, and they're all super fun! (But if you don't want to pay to ride on a boat in the river, there's a free tug boat that goes back and forth from the Westin across the river.)
Take the ferry across the river and head inside! They usually have a yearly gingerbread house competition. Maybe you can time your visit to take a look at all the creations!
