Our first date was at the local coffee shop, Kookaburra. We had chatted for a month or so online and decided to take the plunge and meet in person. Neither of us had high hopes it would go anywhere but decided to give it a shot. What was supposed to be a 30 minute meet-up turned into a 3 hour long immediate connection. We knew in that moment there was something special. Our first weekend date was a marathon viewing of Lord of the Rings (the extended editions, of course.) That day was when our relationship was cemented into each other's hearts. And the rest is history.
