Oia (pronounced ee`yah) is the northern town on the island and is world famous for its spectacular sunsets! I highly recommend asking your hotel about a short bus transfer to the city- avoid driving to the town as parking is very difficult.
This incredible hike takes you along the caldera cliff and through the villages of Fira, Firostefani, Imerovigli, and Oia with the most breathtaking views. Highly recommended!
Get a taste of local Santorini Wine from one of these beautiful Winery's! Venatsanos Winery (Caldera View) Santo Winery (Pyrgos village with beautiful view) Gavalas Winery Vassaltis Winery
Check out one of our favorites authentic Greek restaurants on the island: Metaxi Mas (our favorite) Tavern Tzanakis Geromanolis
Since buses don’t run everywhere, you may want to rent a quad in Santorini to get around the island. As Santorini is only 30 square miles, you can reach any part of the island by quad or ATV. I recommend starting at one end of the island and making your way through the island.
