With views like these, it's no surprise RMNP is Colorado's most visited attraction! Some of our favorite hikes in the park include the Sky Pond and Lake Helene trails. During peak season, the park may require reservations for timed-entry. Please check the park website for more information.
Known for inspiring one of Stephen King's most loved novels, the Stanley is a "must-see" spot in Estes. While Grant and Aspen haven't seen any ghosts while visiting the hotel, it's considered one of America's most haunted! It's also home to The Post Chicken and Beer, a great spot for gluten free grub.
For the whiskey lovers, we recommend the Estes Park Distilling Co. We first tried their whiskey at the annual Whiskey Warm Up, an event we hope to attend for many years to come.
The Lake Estes Marina offers kayak, paddle board, and pontoon rentals. The water will likely be cold in June, but the lake is beautiful any time of year! If you're interested in lake-view dining, the Dunraven at the Estes Park Resort is both fun and delicious.
