I have known Jane for about half my life now and I’ll just say that it was inevitable that we were going to be best friends. We went to the same high school, university, and church, plus we were and still kinda are roommates/ housemates! Jane is more than just a friend to me. She is family and the sister I never had (we are both only childs). I’m so thankful that she has been there for me all these years and really excited to have her beside me on the big day!

I met Michael in high school and proud to say that he is my first best friend. We were basically attached to the hips and had this intense bromantic relationship that left some people scratching their heads. If you know Michael, calling him smart, athletic, and musically talented is an understatement. Literally his only weakness are peanuts.

Jackie and I knew each other from undergrad since we took some of the same classes at La Sierra University. Little did we know, we ended up becoming classmates in hygiene school and eventually one of my life long friends! Jackie is my travel and foodie buddy, and we have been on many adventures together including Hawaii and a couple Caribbean islands! Although I am sad she will be moving away to Korea for some time, that's all the more the reason for me to go travel and visit right? :)

I met Kylo during my first year in college. We share many similar interests in sports and humor, which became the essence of our friendship. Many will agree that his kind-hearted personality is one in a million, and I feel like I won the lottery with him. Did I mention how smart and athletically gifted he is (but sadly not enough to beat me at Smash Bros)?

Amy Nguyen

Amy is one of the first people I met in hygiene school! She was one of my study buddies, and my fondest memories together include eating Hot Cheetos with cream cheese at 3 in the morning while studying for our pathology and pharmacology exams. Amy is one of the most down to earth, kindhearted people that I have met, and I also know that I can count on her for the best food recs! Amy went on to dental school and is now working as a dentist in Norcal, and I am so excited to see her again to celebrate all the festivities!

Peter Chun

I met Peter during my first year in college. We were former lab partners during chemistry and housemates in medical school. If you know Peter, he is probably one of the funniest, most unpredictable, and wittiest guy I have ever met. I would literally laugh out of nowhere thinking about our past interactions, especially that time when I accidentally called him "Peeler." He is also a future pediatrician who recently matched into Neonatology fellowship. Peter is married to Jane Lee (Maid of Honor)

Sharon Jun

Sharon and I met at church and over time became very close friends! We share our love for food and it amazes me how well this girl can eat! Sharon is the sweetest, coolest elementary school teacher I know who knows how to have fun, and I can always count on her to have a good time! Sharon recently got married and I know I can go to her for any advice. She is a great listener and we can always pick up where we left off and talk for hours! I am so thankful that she has always been there for me!

I got to know Jay throughout college and medical school. We bonded through various activities, mainly through basketball and Call of Duty (along with Peter). If I had an older brother, I imagine it would be someone like Jay. Somone who can roast the living being out of me but still make me feel cared for. Never had a dull moment with this soon-to-be hospitalist and probably never will.

Kaily De Guzman

I met Kaily at one of my first offices I had worked at. Some times later, my current office was looking to hire another hygienist so I recruited her and we became the best of friends! We really bonded over our lunch breaks, getting boba, venting about work, and playing Maplestory together. Kaily is one of the most selfless, hardworking, and caring people I know and I cannot imagine work without her!

Matthew and I grew up together in Monterey when we were adolescents. I'll never forget the time he accidentally threw a fishing hook at me, leaving a permanent scar. Fast forward to medical school where through a series of Smash Bros and study sessions, we found ourselves more than just family friends. To be honest, I do not think I would have passed my second year of medical school without this guy.

Brandie Curtis

Brandie was also one of my classmates in hygiene school and default member (alongside Jackie) whenever we had group projects. She is one of the most fun-loving and pleasant people to hang out with and I don’t know anyone who loves boba as much as this girl! We would walk to Boba Tea House all the time from the dorms because none of us had cars. Brandie also has the most beautiful voice I have ever heard and her singing ability is unmatched! She is especially good at singing Ariana Grande songs like its her own!

I got to know Stanford on a mission trip in Honduras before college. I vaguely remember getting some type of gastritis after he fed me some Vienna sausages and expired chips. Despite all that, he is one of the most caring and open-minded friend I know, which explains how he can tolerate all my venting about life though he never asks.
