FAQs

If you have any questions not answered here, feel free to text Ashley at (408) 489-9283 or Katie at (203) 506-7069.
Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony and reception will be a formal/semi-formal event.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

The Swan Resort, Dolphin Resort, Boardwalk Resort, Yacht Club, and Beach Club are all within walking distance to the Swan Reserve, where the ceremony and reception will be held. If you are staying at a nearby hotel, an Uber or Lyft is recommended. (There is a fee for parking at the Swan Reserve.)

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We want everyone to enjoy their time with us and we will make sure you are taken care of. Please let Katie or Ashley know if you or your guest have any allergies or dietary restrictions!

Question

We don’t want the night to end! Will you have an after party?

Answer

Yes! Join us after the reception for an unofficial after party at Jellyrolls dueling piano bar or the Atlantic Dance Hall at the Boardwalk resort! These locations are right across the street from the Swan Reserve.

Question

If we are bringing Pluto's friends, where can they stay?

Answer

If you are bringing pets, there are a few hotels on Disney property that allow hotel reservations with pets (Art of Animation, The Cabins at Fort Wilderness, Port Orleans Riverside, and the Yacht Club), but unfortunately most of the hotels are not pet friendly. However, Tucker (our pup) has had a blast at the following two pet hotels in the area! Best Friends: A pet hotel on Disney property, a 5-10 minute drive from the wedding venue. https://www.bestfriendspetcare.com/location/waltdisneyworldresort Pet Paradise: Pet Paradise has two locations, Winter Garden and Lake Buena Vista. Tucker has been to both and has had a blast at both locations! https://www.petparadise.com/

Question

What do I do if I want to spend a day at the Disney parks?

Answer

Especially since the venue and many of the nearby hotels are on Disney property (the venue hotel is also within walking distance to Epcot and Hollywood Studios), we highly recommend taking advantage and spending some time at a Disney park! We also recommend you download the My Disney Experience app to help you with your plans! For those of you who would like to join, we will be “Drinking Around the World” at Epcot on Thursday, March 21st. A pre-purchased theme park ticket is highly recommended. For all tickets purchased, a park reservation has to be made. A park reservation is automatically made when a single-day ticket is purchased. However, if you are purchasing a multi-day ticket, you must make your park reservations to ensure that you will be able to get into the park. If you have any questions, the following link will likely have all of the answers to your questions: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/faq/. In addition, changes to the rules and regulations regarding tickets and reservations may change, so please refer to Disney's official website for the most up-to-date information. For those staying at the Swan Reserve, the Swan and Dolphin, or any Disney resort, you will get an “Early Entry” perk in which you can go to the park 30 minutes earlier compared to non-resort guests. This is a great opportunity to maximize your time and get on some of the longer wait time rides/attractions.

For all the days along the way
