Question

Where is the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony is being held at Rivercrest Farm. It will be held outside on the Farm's hilltop (weather permitting). Signs will be located on the grounds, along with grounds attendants, to assist you in parking and directions to the ceremony site. Attendants will also transport you to the hilltop via wagon carriage or golf carts (no-one will have to walk). Please let the attendants know if you require additional assistance.

Where is the reception?

Answer

The reception will follow directly after the ceremony on the lower grounds at Rivercrest Farm and in the barn. Cocktail hour will be held on the lower patio with dinner and dancing to follow inside the barn. Attendants will guide you back onto the wagon carriage to be transported to the lower level of the the venue. You will not need to drive to a separate location for the reception. All wedding day of events will be hosted in the same location: Rivercrest Farm.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults only event. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

When you RSVP, you will be able to see the total number of people in your party. You may also note "& guest" when you RSVP. If this is the case, we would love for you to bring a plus one! Please include their name in your response. If your invitation does not include "& guest," please understand our wishes for you to attend our wedding on your own.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The ceremony will be held in a grassy field followed by a reception in the barn, so please wear appropriate footwear. We ask that you dress comfortably in either formal or cocktail attire (please no jeans). Ladies should wear either formal length dresses or a nice cocktail dress, and the gentleman should wear a suit and tie or sports coat. Oh-and be sure to bring your dancing shoes!

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

We suggest using google maps or GPS for directions to get to the venue.

Is there parking on site?

Answer

Yes! There is free parking on site in various lots. Parking attendants will guide you on where to park. Guests can leave their cars overnight to be picked up the following day between 8am and 12pm. We will be providing a shuttle service for guests who need transportation to and from their hotel.

Are you providing a shuttle service?

Answer

Yes! There will be a shuttle service provided for guests staying at any of the 3 hotels we have blocked out. The schedule is as follows: Pick Up Times (Hotels to Venue): -The Holiday Inn Express & Suites New Philadelphia: 3:00p-3:30p -Best Western Dutch Valley Inn: 3:30p-3:45p -Hampton Inn New Philadelphia: Pickup not provided to venue Departure Times (Venue to Hotels): -The Shuttle will be departing from Rivercrest Farm to ALL 3 hotels every hour starting at 8pm until 11:00pm -Please provide your hotel name to the bus driver upon boarding the bus for your departure.

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes! We have several rooms blocked out at the following hotels: Holiday Inn Express & Suites New Philadelphia Dutch Valley Inn Best Western Hampton Inn Express & Suites New Philadelphia Please book your room using the provided codes found on the transportation + lodging page. Please review the shuttle schedule prior to choosing your hotel to book.

When should I arrive?

Answer

If you are driving yourself: please plan to arrive 30 minutes early (4:00pm) and no later than 15 minutes prior to the ceremony start. This allows our attendants enough time to safely transport you to the hilltop for the ceremony. If you are taking the shuttle, do not worry about arrival time! Please follow the provided shuttle schedule.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby. Guests will be transported to the lower level of the grounds for cocktail hour, where you will be served hor'dourves and beverages.

Should I bring money for drinks?

Answer

Drinks are on us! There will be alcoholic beverages provided at our opens bars on the upper and lower levels of the barn. We will also provide soft drinks, water and other light refreshments.

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Yes! It can be found here on our wedding website through Zola. We have thoughtfully chosen items from both Zola's website and outside sources as present on the registry page.

When is the RSVP deadline? Can I mail back the RSVP or complete it online?

Answer

The RSVP deadline is August 16, 2023. All RSVP's can be submitted through our website under the RSVP tab. Please type in a member of your party's name to RSVP.

What should I do if I cannot make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no," so we can plan accordingly.

What kind of food will be served at the reception?

Answer

There will be finger foods provided during our cocktail hour followed by a buffet style dinner. There will be an assortment of foods, including dairy free and vegetarian options.

Is the venue handicap accessible?

Answer

Yes! Although different areas of the grounds require walking and stairs, there will be golf cart services provided to transport guests to all areas of the venue. There is a handicap accessible bathroom located in the reception area of the barn. The comfort of our guests is very important to us so please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.
