What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than August 1st as we need to let our caterers know an official head count!

Please dress semi-formal/dressy casual and wear something comfortable for you.

Is the reception indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The venue is both indoors and outdoors. While the main gathering area that we are using is completely covered and enclosed, the rest of the property is outside. Also, please check out the link to the venue and take a look for yourself! https://thewateroasis.com/

Can kids come?

Answer

Yes, kids are welcome! The venue is kid-friendly, the restrooms even have a baby changing station, with the only exception being the pond area which is not enclosed, so anyone could easily walk into it if they are not careful. We ask that you keep track of your little ones so they are safe.

What is Oregon weather like in September?

Answer

Rainy. Clear skies. Partially cloudy. Who knows! Google says a high of 76 and a low of 54 so do with that what you will.

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes, the venue has a paved parking lot that can hold up to 150 cars. There is overflow parking behind the venue that we could access if needed, however, it is not paved.

Do I have to dance?

Answer

Yes. The bride requests that every guest dance to at least one song. The groom will probably be hiding by the pond.

Is the reception venue wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes, it is! There are even accessible restrooms.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our reception is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 1510 23rd St SE APT 300 Salem, Oregon 97302. A card box will be at our reception.
