Chateau Pizay is 23km/14 mi from Macon train station. Trains to Macon from major airports: From Paris: The TGV bullet train goes from Paris Gare de Lyon to Mâcon-Loché station at least twice daily and takes 1hr 40 minutes. The regular TER train goes from Paris Bercy station to Mâcon Ville and takes 4hrs. From Lyon: The TGV bullet train goes from Lyon Pare Dieu to Mâcon-Loché station several times a day and takes 25 minutes. The TER train goes from Lyon Pare Dieu or Lyon Vaise stations to Mâcon Ville and takes 1 hour. From London: The Eurostar to Lyon takes 5 hours 30 minutes. Flying is usually faster and cheaper.
