WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!

As babies... we grew up together! Our first experiences were full of playing games, like hide and seek, tag, foosball and over time turned into Nintendo, ghost in the graveyard. There were some very fond we're-teammates-and-just-won memories and some not-so-fond karate-kick-in-the-stomach memories haha. Gradually, we went our separate ways into junior high, high school, college, and grad school.

20 years later... we reconnected and started dating! Our first dates would last 3-4 hours each. We couldn't wait to see each other again and again. The stories of Vince's car exploding during an interview, and Ariel's creepy cat tale kept bringing each other back for more. Together we've jogged six 5k's and visited 5 countries. Between football games and themed parties, it's been a whirlwind of fun, love, and support! We now own a beautiful spot of paradise along the lake in Chicago.

Downtown for a long weekend, we went to a brunch party, then the beach, and finally a water taxi from the Planetarium to Navy Pier for fireworks. Of course we were accidentally wearing matching neon green outfits (see Pictures tab)! As we were searching for the water taxi (that wasn't running), Vince dropped down on one knee!! With the Chicago skyline and sunset in the background, cars were honking happily as Ariel shouted YES YES YES!!
