Question

What's the Dress Code?

Answer

Dress to Impress! We ask that guests come in elevated cocktail or formal attire. For the ladies, this could be a floor-length or midi dress, a fancier cocktail dress, a formal jumpsuit, or dressy separates. Gents, a lightweight suit is recommended. Vintage flair is welcome, but completely optional. Please avoid jeans, and colors typically reserved for the bridal party such as white, cream, or ivory. Let's get dressed up and have some fun!

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5:15, and we ask all guests not utilizing the shuttles to/from the hotel to arrive promptly by 5pm. The shuttle from the Lakeside Inn will leave at 4:30. Please allow 30 minutes to drive from the Inn and park.

How do I get to the venue? Is there parking?

Answer

We will be providing shuttles to and from our weekend hotel (see the Travel page), and encourage guests to utilize this option. For those who prefer to travel directly to the venue, the address is 1001 Citrus Ave, Howey-In-The-Hills, FL 34737 and there is parking onsite.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

While we invite guests to take as many photos as they want before/after the ceremony and during the reception, we kindly ask that all phones remain put away during the ceremony. We'll be delighted to share the work of our talented photographers with anyone who would like copies of ceremony photos at a later date.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to venue size limits, those allowed to have a plus-one will have it noted on their invitation. Please reach out if you have any questions.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we love the little ones of our friends and family and wish we could accommodate them all, our wedding will be an adults-only affair. We'll provide some childcare recommendations in the area for those who need it, but we invite all the parents in the group to come enjoy a fun child-free date night!

Is there a wedding block for the hotel?

Answer

Yes! Please see the Travel tab above.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding will be indoors in an air-conditioned hall. Cocktail hour will be outdoors on a shaded patio, and dinner will be served in the tented courtyard, which has fans and plenty of airflow. Dancing and dessert will be back inside in the AC!

I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What's the best way to let you know?

Answer

We've included space for this on our RSVP, but if you forgot to include it there, please email us as soon as possible at AJMarriage24@gmail.com so we can let the caterer know.
