Where to stay?

All wedding festivities will be held in Leesburg, Virginia. There are plenty of options for hotels depending on budgets and what you want out of your trip. We recommend staying in Leesburg or Ashburn if you want to stay close to the wedding festivities. However, if you are interested in staying closer to Washington D.C., we recommend staying in Georgetown for great shopping or Downtown for the monuments and museums. Best of both worlds is Reston and Tysons Corner, which has Aine’s favorite malls, and is a 30-minute drive to Leesburg, and a 20-minute drive to downtown Washington D.C.

Flight

Dulles International Airport

Virginia has two large airports, Dulles International Airport and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. Our recommendation is the Dulles International Airport, because it is closer to the wedding festivities, and is much larger, offering more flexibility with airlines and flights offered. The Ronald Reagan National Airport is in the heart of Washington D.C. but is a 1-hour drive to the wedding venue.
