Swimming at the Jungle Cenote

Wear a bathing suit, cover up, and towel.
Cenotes are sunken limestone pools in the middle of the jungle. They are crystal clear and surrounded by lush, jungle. Truly beautiful and should not be missed! The cost is 120 pesos per person and this includes entrance to both Cenote Cristal and Cenote Escondido. PESOS/CASH ONLY. Transportation: 15 minute cab drive from the hotel strip, about 6 minute drive from the Tulum town. Any cab driver will know if you tell them "Cenote Cristal y Escondido." You can ask your cab to wait or come back while you swim, they will usually arrange a deal with you. Alternatively, you can rent a bike (very cheap, many places on the hotel strip), and bike there. However, it's not that safe. Bring your own water or beer, enough for an hour or two. They don't sell anything there, it's just a pool in the middle of the jungle. Bring snacks if you think you might get hungry! Bug spray and sunscreen are always a good idea. If you want to snorkel, you'll have to BYO mask and goggles. Don't forget a towel!

Beach Party!

We will plan to meet at the BeTulum/Nomade hotel beach front. They share a beach front and always have a DJ on the beach on Friday during the day. Join us to hang out, eat lunch, or just have a few drinks. Bring a towel, credit card and pesos! NOTE: It's easiest to enter from the beach. I would recommend walking from your hotel, along the water, until you reach BeTulum and enter by walking up from the beach. They will give you a hard time if you try to enter via main lobby from street. If you are questioned, say you're there for lunch!

Note: It has a large wooden sign, visible from the road, that reads "La Eufemia." It's part of the OM Tulum Cabanas and Beach Club. You have to walk down a long, sketchy path to get from the street entrance to the restaurant, located on the beach - don't be disturbed, you will get there. Wedding party & family only for this event (invitation separate). Please come to our welcome cocktail hour, shortly following! We will have appetizers, dinner, drinks, music and speeches for anyone who wants to give one.

Please arrive via the entrance from the road. You will see a sign for the Akiin Beach Plaza. Enter the plaza, past the shops and follow the wooden path where there will be lights hanging from the trees - there will be a sign for our wedding. The entrance is across from the I Scream Bar and next door to Kanan hotel.
