Question

How long will the ceremony be?

Answer

The ceremony will likely be approximately 1.5 hours long. The actual marriage sacrament takes place at the very beginning and is immediately proceeded by a Traditional Latin Nuptial Mass.

Question

What is the dress code for a Traditional Latin Mass?

Answer

There is no universal dress code for a Latin Mass. However, all are encouraged to dress modestly in order to exemplify the inherit dignity of each person.

Question

If I am a woman, do I have to wear a chapel veil?

Answer

Chapel veils are not required to attend a Latin Mass; however, they are encouraged for women.

Question

Do I have to kneel if I receive communion?

Answer

Yes, communion will be distributed at the altar rail and on the tongue. If you are unable to kneel, then you are welcome to stand at the end of the altar rail to receive there. If you need communion brought to you, just let one of our ushers know when you come in, and they will have Father bring communion to you in your pew.
