Wrightsville Beach

If you choose to stay somewhere outside of walking distance, you can park and explore via public access points. Make sure you pay to park! You will get ticketed otherwise. Dogs (leashed) are allowed on the beach seasonally, starting October 1st! Please note that alcohol is not allowed on the beach so be discrete. Wrightsville and Wilmington locals are very proud of keeping the beach clean and the beach is patrolled regularly. You will get fined for glass AND alcohol. If you choose to partake (we do!), bring a cooler and tuck it away when you hear patrolmen.

Dockside Restaurant

Great lunch spot! Dockside is one of Lewis's favorite spots in Wrightsville Beach. Lewis suggests ordering a "painkiller" cocktail and peel and eat shrimp while watching the boats go by!

Boat Rental

There are plenty of companies around Wilmington that rent boats. Explore the greater Wilmington area and see the beautiful sea grass!
