An old golf course recently turned nature preserve. Very cool to walk the trails and see how nature has taken over. Lots of hiking trails to enjoy.

If you have the time and a car, drive north to Cross Village to eat at Legs Inn - drive M-119 for a scenic drive In a quirky stone building dating from the early 20th century, this seasonal family-run inn with cottages is within the Shurtleff Nature Preserve near the shores of Lake Michigan. Great food and amazing views. Go early to avoid the wait.
