FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is casual as it is a camping wedding. The venue is entirely outside on a mountain so be wary of your shoe choice! Feel free to ask us with any specific questions!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! We are giving all our parent friends the choice: would you like to be kid free for the night, or bring the whole fam to celebrate? Just let us know which you prefer! Some of you don't have that luxury, as your kids are in the wedding ;)

Question

Dog friendly?

Answer

Yes, fur babies are welcome at our wedding! They must be friendly to other dogs and kids. We also ask they are relatively well behaved, so that their human can enjoy the wedding without spending the entire time running after the pup. We are hard at work getting Oakley trained well enough to meet the requirements above ;) She does of course get an exception (spoiled).

Question

Camping logistics....?

Answer

If you are in the wedding party, we will be able to set up camp the night before the wedding at the rehearsal dinner. If you are a guest, we have time built into the schedule to set up camp. You must RSVP to one of the "camp set up" events so we can anticipate who will be camping!

Question

Specifics about the venue?

Answer

The venue is in the Santa Cruz mountains, about 20 minutes up the hill from Capitola. The venue has two bathrooms & a shower. A full kitchen and pizza oven, and outdoor games including ping pong, horseshoes, disc golf, and cornhole. We will be making breakfast for those camping the morning after the wedding. Any additional games, food, drinks, etc are more than welcome!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking on the mountain! Those that are camping will get priority for parking. We might arrange transportation for those that are not camping, but more info on that to come.

Question

Alcohol at the wedding?

Answer

We will not have hard alcohol at our wedding. Just beer, wine, WHITE CLAWS, and other various drinks along this sort. This of course does not mean you cannot bring whatever you like! Whether that be a flask, your favorite craft drink, or mixings for brunch cocktails the following morning.
