KC's best-known brewery with lots of room to hang out. A great place to kill some time between the wedding and reception. We plan to post up here on Saturday, but time is still TBD.
The Roasterie Cafe - Drive-Thru
You can't miss it because of the plane on the roof. A great spot for a pick-me-up between the wedding and reception.
The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art
KC's world-renowned art museum with architecture and sculpture grounds to boot. The Nelson's shuttlecocks have become the de facto symbol of the city.
National World War I Museum and Memorial
A very interactive museum that does a great job bringing the history to life. Also home to some of the best views of the city.
Joe's Kansas City Bar-B-Que
Perhaps KC's best-known barbecue. And definitely the best barbecue you'll ever have in a gas station.
Q39 - Midtown
The new kid on the block for KC barbecue. But Q has quickly become one of our favorites.
Extra Virgin
The location of our second date and a great happy hour spot. Tim proposed just outside. We love to sit on the patio or at the bar to enjoy our favorite small plates.
Green Lady Lounge
Jazz on two floors, dark velvet booths, strong cocktails. You'll lose track of time in here.
Mildred's Coffeehouse
Owned by a dear friend and home to our favorite breakfast sandwich in town.
Thou Mayest Coffee Roasters
A camp-themed coffeeshop with a patio and a cereal bar.
Made in KC Cafe
Just down the block from the Marriott, this place has homemade pop tarts and a lot of Instagram-bait. Now serving cocktails in the evening.

We love this Austrian beer garden so much that we've rung in the new year, celebrated our engagement and will have our rehearsal dinner here.

A national treasure for true sports fans.
Country Club Plaza
The U.S.'s first outdoor shopping mall. It's like you're in Seville. Kind of. KC is known as the City of Fountains, and you'll find many of them here.

ice cream from Christopher Elbow, KC's homegrown chocolatier. So yummy!
River Market
KC's largest farmer's market with lots of great restaurants around the perimeter. Stopping here is our favorite Saturday activity.

A 24-hour diner serving Kansas City since 1937. Maybe we'll meet you there after the reception?!
