We have been blessed to have been given permission by Bishop Schlert to celebrate the Tridentine Rite for our wedding! This was the rite of the Roman Catholic Church until 1962, when the Magesterium changed certain aspects of the liturgy into what is now called the Novus Ordo, which is what is probably more familiar to many of you.

We wanted to have a Tridentine Rite wedding for many reasons, but mainly because it's a beautiful expression of the Catholic mass that's less accessible, and we are excited for the opportunity to bring it to you!

Since the form is a little different, pamphlets will be provided that will have the prayers, responses, and English translation of the Latin parts. The mass will be a little longer, and some things will be different, but Christ is present as He always is!
