The year was 1692... Anna Galbraith was on trial in Salem, MA with accusations of witch craft. "Innocent until proven guilty," they say, however it seemed the opposite was true. The townsfolk's verdict was clear before Anna could utter a single word. She was caught feeding a stray black cat by witch hunter, Carl Grogan. A mob of locals promptly dragged her to the town center where she was tied to a wooden stake. The magistrate lit the brush beneath her feet as the growing crowd roared. As the flames began to lick her flesh, Anna's eyes met Carl's. He swiftly dashed through the flames, freed her from the restraints, swept her up, and fled to his cabin in the woods. When they arrived at the cabin, Anna asked, "Why did ye save me?" All Carl could say was, "It seems ye done cast yer spells upon me." Now, in the 21st century, they're getting hitched.
