A frequent date spot - we go for the great dirty martinis and Memphis music. Don't forget to check out the secret listening room behind the bar with state-of-the-art speakers + the lounge upstairs with an awesome photo spot in front of a wall of speakers and records.

Grab a coffee and a delicious pastry while you wander down South Main. Located in the Arrive Hotel.

Great spot for brunch - and it's in the historic Central Station Hotel!
Itta Bena
Our date night spot for special occasions, with a unique, cool atmosphere. Located above B.B. King's on Beale Street (Enter off 2nd St., or take the secret staircase in the club like a true Memphian).
The Peabody Memphis
Everyone needs to see the Peabody Duck March once in their lives (occurs daily at 11am & 5pm). The Peabody lobby is THE spot to meet for a cocktail during the holiday season; the festive decorations are nothing short of glamorous.
Metal Museum
If you have time, mosey around the historic grounds and museum (the only institution in the U.S. devoted exclusively to the art, craft, and repair of fine metalwork), which happen to be right next door to our apartment. Fantastic views of the river!

Central BBQ
Great spot to satiate your barbecue cravings. Don't skip the wings.
Payne's Bar-B-Que
Secrets of the South - if it looks like a hole in the wall, the food is some of the best there is. Payne's is a Memphis favorite for a reason.
Beauty Shop
We love their brunch, just make reservations ahead of time! Located in the historic Cooper-Young district.
Tonica
Another favorite date spot, with a Spanish flair - great for tapas and drinks.
Ghost River Brewing Co.
One of the first local breweries in Memphis, now with a cool updated taproom. Check out their multi-story beer garden on Beale Street as well!
Big River Crossing
Walk the bridge between Memphis and Arkansas. Bundle up!
Bass Pro Shops at the Pyramid
The largest Bass Pro Shop in the WORLD. It's a bit silly, and Memphians don't like to talk about it, but it's worth a visit.
Slider Inn - Downtown
Great sliders and good atmosphere. The Jameson slushie is a must.
Flying Saucer Draught Emporium
All the beer.
Swanky's Taco Shop Germantown
Hopefully we don't have to explain the awesomeness of tacos to you. Vegetarian/vegan options as well.
